I witnessed Ian work as a tireless advocate for Brattleboro, repeatedly stepping out of the office for meetings and phone calls on behalf of the town while keeping up with the work on his desk. I saw Ian quietly, efficiently and consistently undertake difficult tasks and make hard decisions as a leader and elected official.
Working together as we did, I came to understand Ian’s dedication to public service as being informed by an abiding commitment to building community. This quality distinguishes his candidacy from those of other office seekers on this year’s ballot.
