Daniel Quipp: Ian will fight for Brattleboro
Ian is serious, thoughtful, energetic, and hard-working. He cares deeply about all facets of our community. From our time together on the board, I know that Ian is able to see issues from many different perspectives, and weigh those points of view carefully to try to arrive at a good decision. Importantly, for one who works with others on policy matters, he’s not so arrogant to think that his perspective is the only one that’s valid. Because of these traits I can picture Ian working well in committee (a crucial part of the Legislature’s work) to investigate complex issues and craft good policies.
